Director of Family Services for Malvern Treatment Centers
Nicole Mountney serves as the new Director of Family Services for Malvern Treatment Centers. She brings 12 years of clinical leadership experience in providing trauma-informed and co-occurring mental health treatment, inclusive of community-based mental health, residential services, and private practice in the Greater Philadelphia area.
Over the past ten years, Nicole has been a Clinical Director in Montgomery County and her dedication to building relationships with cross-system service providers and community stakeholders has enhanced evidence-supported mental health treatment for at-risk children, adults, and families.
Nicole holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and a Master of Family Therapy from Drexel University. She is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and a Clinical Fellow of the American Association for Marriage and Family Therapy (AAMFT). Her areas of professional interest include creating innovative, co-occurring treatment approaches in complex clinical settings and enhancing professional development trainings that support the treatment of individuals and families experiencing life-threatening and life-altering challenges throughout their recovery. Nicole brings a strong systems perspective to Malvern Treatment Centers and will play a unique role to further develop clinical services and a future family therapy internship program.
