Comprehensive Addiction Treatment for the Entire Family
Malvern Treatment Centers provide focused recovery and compassionate care to individuals and their loved ones. There are many options to consider when approaching recovery. Inpatient care is a short-term level of care and often the initial first phase. However, it is important that individuals envision their journey to recovery far past their residential stay. Research shows that it is critical to acknowledge the various people impacted by untreated behavioral health issues and that substance-free lifestyles are directly linked to healthy relationships with family and community. Malvern provides a comprehensive, trauma-informed, systems approach that enhances emotionally sustaining relationships and healing. We recognize that substance use and behavioral health issues are life-threatening and can damage human connection and isolate those who we care about the most. Whether it be one’s partner, child, family member, or support person, Malvern engages loved ones and community members to begin repairing these connections.
While in treatment, individuals in care are encouraged to spend time on both personal and interpersonal growth, repairing lost connections, and/or strengthening one’s support system. Malvern’s comprehensive treatment team delivers services of the highest standard, inclusive of family therapy. Relational treatment interventions and family therapy are essential to creating new opportunities and to blocking previous patterns of isolation.
The four dimensions of recovery; health, home, purpose, and community, guide Malvern’s person-centered care coordination. At the end of treatment, the family’s journey is then complimented by a referral to our community-based service that instills hope and connection to other individuals in recovery. Everyone’s individual life circumstances are unique; thus, we ensure that aftercare planning for families is detail driven and given thorough consideration.
The Clinical Treatment Team
Malvern’s Treatment Team offers trauma-informed, evidence-based treatment approaches through a family systems lens at all locations. The multidisciplinary treatment team includes Psychiatrists, Psychologists, Nurses, Marriage and Family Therapists, Lead Counselors, Care Coordinators, Clinical Aides, and 24-hour Support Staff. The individual in treatment and their treatment team collaboratively work together to create a comprehensive treatment plan. Individual and family sessions are intended to cohesively inform one another, in which family therapy enhances individual therapy, and individual therapy enhances family therapy.
We offer a number of comprehensive family programs. These range from the Recovery Oriented Care (ROC) program – our innovative approach to long-term family recovery – to dedicated family care and counseling during all levels of treatment. Our son was at the Willow Grove location. We were so scared and desperately tried to get him to agree to being admitted a third time. Things got very, very ugly - but finally we got him to agree to come back to Malvern. The staff at Malvern also welcomed him with open arms. As his parents we always felt so comforted in knowing he was in such a loving and safe place. We will forever be grateful to your staff and never forget what they did for him. He has been miraculously doing well and to this day goes to weekly meetings. His faith in God has also grown beyond our wildest dreams which truly keeps him grounded. God is his “anchor”.
