Malvern Treatment Center’s RISE Program is an inpatient treatment program at our King Road facility. RISE is designed to help men with substance use disorders and trauma histories build the strength, resilience, and practical skills needed for lasting recovery. With a focus on evidence-based, trauma-informed care, RISE empowers participants to move from surviving to thriving.
The RISE recovery program is here to help men with:
Regulation
Emotional regulation skill development and recognition of trauma responses with emphasis on present-focused trauma treatment.
Insight
Identifying triggers, warning signs, patterns, and trauma impact; and re-establishing identity and values.
Safety
Creating an internal and external sense of safety, focusing on living in the present, and understanding appropriate boundaries vs limits.
Empowerment
Restoring self-efficacy/voice, decision-making skills for safe choices, and a sense of future with trauma.
RISE Program Highlights
The RISE inpatient program supports recovery through personalized, trauma-informed care and is designed for individuals in the ASAM 3.5E & 3.7 levels of care.
Participation in the RISE program includes
- 6- week curriculum.
- Staff with small caseloads.
- Weekly psychiatry and psychology sessions.
- Evidence-based treatment using Seeking Safety.
- Horticultural therapy.
