Dr. Michael Salazar joined Malvern Health in May 2019, after serving for over 13 years as CEO of KeyStone Center, a 153-bed residential behavioral health facility specializing in the treatment of co-occurring disorders. Prior to his appointment as CEO, he worked as the Director of Psychology and Director of Clinical Services at KeyStone. He is a PA licensed psychologist with extensive experience working with adult and adolescent co-occurring populations and treating trauma-related disorders in residential, outpatient and private practice settings, and has provided lectures and workshops on cognitive-behavioral strategies in relapse prevention.
Dr. Salazar received his Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from La Salle University in 1983. He then received a Master of Arts in Applied Psychology in 1985. He earned his Doctorate from Widener University’s Institute for Graduate Clinical Psychology in 1991.
