Not only do we help addicts and their families heal at Malvern – not only have we worked tirelessly since 1948 to save lives & rebuild relationships – but we’re dedicated to continuing to grow as individuals and as an organization.
We believe in learning, refining, and growing on all levels. We believe in giving back to our communities. We believe Malvern’s about more than treatment – we’re about hope.
Keeping that in mind, we’re excited to participate in the following events in May. We hope to see you there!
The Annual Broad St. Run

This 10-mile, point-to-point course, starting at the Central High School Athletic Field at Broad Street and Somerville Avenue, was named one of the fastest 10-mile courses in the country by Runner’s World. It’s also the largest 10-mile road race in the country!
We’re happy to announce several of our staff are going to take part in the run. They’ll represent Malvern as they run through the varied and beautiful neighborhoods of Philadelphia.
Find more information at the Broad Street Run site.
The Mid-Atlantic Behavioral Health Conference
The annual Mid-Atlantic Behavioral Health Conference is put on by the Maryland Addiction Directors Council (MADC).

The conference itself’s a great opportunity to connect with our colleagues along the East Coast and spend a couple of days reviewing how to best serve the recovery community as a whole. We’re honored to take part in discussions around the following areas: substance use disorders, mental health issues, community-based healthcare, psychology, and psychiatry.
The theme of this year’s conference is “Partners in a New World.” It promises to be a great time.
That’s it! If you know any other behavioral healthcare events, or if you’d like to connect during these events, reach out to us on Facebook!
