Throughout the process of recovery, it is required to depend on the help and support of trusted individuals around you. In the spirit of recognizing those who support you, this week Malvern Treatment Centers would like to acknowledge our involvement in both the Drug and Alcohol Service Providers Organization of Pennsylvania (DASPOP) and the National Association of Addiction Treatment Providers (NAATP).
DASPOP allows Malvern Treatment Centers to stay involved and make an impact locally. Most recently, the President of DASPOP, with the support of its members, pleaded to the Pennsylvania legislation to stand up for action against the epidemic of prescription drug abuse.
“What are we waiting for? Every day that passes, another family is confronted by needless tragedy. Another family loses a son, a daughter, a spouse to a prescription drug overdose… It is time for Pennsylvania to step up and take a few logical steps forward to reduce these preventable, entirely needless deaths”
As a member of NAATP, Malvern can proudly say that we are committed to the delivery of quality, efficient and outcome based treatment and prevention programs. With our involvement, we can be up to date on the latest information regarding clinical developments and legislative activity to verify our services are relevant and productive.
