Rachel Krauser Carpenter was raised in Malvern in “a nice Jewish family” with two siblings, a doctor father and a teacher mother. In Great Valley High School, she had friends, but “I always lived in a fantasy world. I was always looking to escape. I was looking to be anyone other than me.”
She shared how her time at Malvern Treatment Centers helped her “learn to be a better version” of herself.
